French Teacher Training

Location: Ark Burlington Danes Academy, London

Salary:£24,000

Bursaries and scholarships from:£26,000 - £28,000

About the role:

You will be training to be a French teacher- this is a great opportunity to train to teach outstanding lessons and therefore help pupils achieve excellent academic results in your subject.

In this role, you will engage in rigorous and continuous professional development to exceed the minimum level of practice expected of teachers as defined in theTeachers’ Standards.You will be able to demonstrate consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct, and be a role-model, positively impacting the academy more widely.

Key requirements:

  • A degree or A level in your teaching subject / a related subject(not applicable to primary)

  • An aptitude for teaching

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide a nurturing classroom and school environment that helps pupils to develop as learners
  • To help to maintain/establish discipline across the whole school
  • To contribute to the effective working of the school
