The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with at least three years post-qualification experience, fluent in French and English, and adept at managing cross-border controls and timely reporting across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with at least three years' post-qualification experience.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Experience leading finance teams across international or multi-entity environments.
• Comfortable designing and operating robust controls and improving finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly management-accounts process and deliver clear, dependable financial information.
• Oversee core accounting activity across payables, receivables, payroll and the general ledger.
• Coordinate statutory reporting, audit and tax deadlines across more than one jurisdiction.
• Review balance-sheet reconciliations and strengthen financial-control procedures.
• Prepare budgets and cash-flow forecasts to support effective decision-making.
• Develop the finance team and build productive relationships with colleagues in the UK and France.
• Help improve finance processes and support the transition of ERP and accounting systems.
