Confidential in Manchester is seeking a Freight Forwarding Coordinator to manage Import and Export shipments across Air and Ocean freight. The role offers progression opportunities, a company bonus, and training, with a Manchester-based office.

You will coordinate shipments, manage documentation, and liaise with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, customers and internal teams to ensure KPI-driven operations and accurate data entry in Sequoia.

Qualifications

• Freight forwarding experience required.
• Experience handling import or export processes.
• Experience in air freight or ocean freight preferred.
• Must be commutable to Manchester to attend office-based work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Import and Export shipments.
• Manage air and ocean freight movements.
• Arrange collections and deliveries for shipments.
• Manage customs documentation for shipments.
• Maintain shipment data and records to KPI standards.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and carriers.
• Use Sequoia to manage shipments; training provided.
