Job summary

Premium Linguistic Services is seeking a Freelance Tigrinya Interpreter to provide face-to-face services in Northampton and surrounding areas. You will work on flexible freelance assignments and help clients communicate effectively in healthcare, local authorities and community settings.

Applicants may be experienced interpreters or newcomers; formal qualifications are not required. You must have English and Tigrinya language skills, and be willing to travel locally.

Qualifications

• A formal interpreting qualification is not required.
• We welcome both qualified and non-qualified applicants. Previous interpreting experience or a relevant qualification is an advantage, but it is not essential.
• If you have strong language and communication skills and are interested in working as a professional interpreter, we encourage you to apply.
• Hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one – a DBS is mandatory and must be in place before undertaking assignments with PLS.

Are you fluent in English and Tigrinya] and interested in using your language skills to help people communicate?

Premium Linguistic Services (PLS) is looking for reliable and confident bilingual individuals to provide face-to-face interpreting services in Northampton and surrounding areas.

Whether you are an experienced interpreter or new to the profession, we welcome your application.

No formal interpreting qualification or previous interpreting experience is required.

As a Freelance Interpreter, you will help people overcome language barriers by facilitating clear, accurate and impartial communication.

You will attend face-to-face appointments in a variety of professional and community settings, including healthcare, local authorities and other public services.

This is a flexible, self-employed opportunity, allowing you to accept assignments based on your availability.

Please note that assignments are offered according to client demand, and a minimum volume of work cannot be guaranteed.
