Job summary

Premium Linguistic Services (PLS) is seeking friendly, reliable freelance interpreters to provide Face-to-Face interpreting in London and surrounding areas. You may attend appointments in person, interpret conversations accurately and impartially, and travel locally for assignments.

Flexible freelance role with opportunities to grow within our UK network. No formal interpreting qualification is required, but language skills, DBS and Right to Work in the UK are important.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face interpreting experience is welcome but not required.
• Right to work in the UK is essential.
• DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one before assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, accurate and impartial interpretation.
• Attend Face-to-Face assignments at agreed locations and times.
• Convey meaning and tone of conversations as accurately as possible.

Premium Linguistic Services (PLS) is looking for friendly, reliable and professional freelance interpreters to provide Face-to-Face interpreting services inLondonand surrounding areas.

Whether you are an experienced interpreter or looking to use your language skills professionally, we would be delighted to hear from you.

No formal interpreting qualification? You can still apply.

As a Freelance Face-to-Face Interpreter, you will help bridge language barriers by enabling clear communication between people who do not share the same language.

You will attend appointments in person and interpret conversations accurately, clearly and impartially.

Assignments may take place in a variety of professional and community settings, giving you the opportunity to meet different people and use your language skills where they are genuinely needed.

This is a flexible freelance role, so you can accept assignments based on your availability.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We welcome both qualified and non-qualified applicants. Previous interpreting experience or a relevant qualification is an advantage, but it is not essential.

• Hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one – a valid DBS is mandatory and must be in place before undertaking any assignments with PLS.
