SchoolGrid is seeking professional Freelance Software Trainers to visit client schools around Southampton, delivering high-quality training and on-site support for the SchoolGrid platform. You will manage pre-install visits and set up SchoolGrid computer terminals with care.

Full training will be provided, and you will represent the company professionally while building trusted relationships with school staff and caterers. Travel to local schools is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a client-facing training role, training on a product, system, or process.
• Ability to onboard or train users patiently and explain how things work.
• Software/training experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for professional, organised, and people focused Freelance Software Trainers to join our expanding team.

SchoolGrid provides trusted software solutions to primary and secondary schools, catering providers, and local authorities across the UK. The Role

This role is all about helping our clients succeed from day one. You will be the face of SchoolGrid on site, visiting new and existing client schools to deliver high quality training and support. You will take ownership of the physical setup, including pre installation site visits and setting up SchoolGrid computer terminals.

Full training and shadowing with an experienced staff member will be provided before you attend any sites solo, ensuring you are fully confident and equipped to represent us.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have prior experience in a client facing training role. This does not strictly need to be within the software sector; however, you must have a track record of successfully onboarding or training on a product, system, or process. If you have experience demonstrating how things work and guiding users patiently through a learning curve, we want to hear from you.
