Job summary

Bimplus seeks a Freelance Site Manager to support a major AMP8 civils scheme in Swindon. You will oversee phosphorus removal works, manage subcontractors, and supervise site operations on a live operational site.

This long-term freelance opportunity runs through to 2029, with a Summer 2026 start, requiring strong HSEQ leadership, reinforced concrete expertise, and proven ability to coordinate on-site activities while maintaining safety, quality and programme performance.

Qualifications

• Previous civils delivery experience preferred in water/utilities
• Strong background in reinforced concrete and infrastructure works
• Experience on live operational sites
• Ability to manage subcontractors, site coordination and HSEQ standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of the phosphorus removal scheme
• Coordinate civils works on a live site and construct new concrete structures
• Manage subcontractors and daily site operations
• Drive Health & Safety, programme and quality performance
