Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking a Site Manager for a freelance six-month assignment on a new build commercial project in Norwich. You will lead the site on a No.2 manager basis, ensuring safety, programme compliance and budget adherence through to handover.

You will ideally have Design & Build or industrial/commercial project experience, a proven track record delivering £5m- £20m projects, and proven communication skills with clients and contractors. CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience on Design and Build, industrial or commercial projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects up to £5m-£20m.
• Experience with a main contractor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certifications.
• Clean and tidy site with regard to the Considerate Constructors' requirements.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining the highest standards of safety.
• Contributing to value engineering and build-ability.
• Agreeing programmes and construction methods with Planners and other production personnel.
• Marshalling resources for overall control and execution of works and sub-contractor selection.
• Ensuring dates, resources, production rates and overhead targets are established and controlled.
• Managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Establishing and maintaining commercial and financial control systems to meet contract requirements.
