Job summary

Bowdon Associates Limited is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager for a 16-week commercial fit-out at One Medlock Square, Manchester. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and ensure safety, quality and programme adherence on a live construction site.

• Proven commercial fit-out experience.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Experience managing projects from start to completion.
• Excellent communication and subcontractor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities on site from mobilisation through to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site labour.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specifications and programme.
• Manage site health and safety, RAMS and procedures.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate deliveries, materials and site logistics.
• Carry out site inspections and quality checks.
• Manage snagging and defects through to completion.
• Liaise with client, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• Flag potential delays or issues to keep the project on programme.
