Job summary

Elvet Recruitment Limited seeks a Freelance Site Manager / Site Agent for a major water infrastructure project near Rotherham. You will lead the civils package, coordinate with Yorkshire Water, and ensure H&S, RAMS and monitoring are in place.

Requirements include proven site management on heavy civils/water schemes (5m+), SMSTS, CSCS and a full driving license. Immediate start for a seven‑month initial term with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Must have proven Site Manager / Site Agent level experience leading heavy civils / water infrastructure projects (5m+).
• Site Engineer background is advantageous.

• Involvement with contract changes: EW's and CE's
• Coordinate with stakeholders & client team on site
• Ensure site H&S is established & followed

• Produce progress reports
• HSE documentation & site audits with client
• Keeping site folders up to date

Job description

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Freelance Site Manager / Site Agent on behalf of a reputable civil engineering contractor to work on an upcoming water infrastructure project near Rotherham.

The initial multi-million scheme will encompass a wide-scope civils package including: drainage, ducting, re-enforced concrete, pumping stations and pipework. All works are part of a water treatment works upgrade, prior experience of Yorkshire Water sites is desired.

Duration:

Initial project programmed for 7 months. Plenty of further work across South Yorkshire so potential for ongoing extension.

• Manage project at setup & delivery stages
• Updating site documentation

Experience required:

• Must have proven experience at Site Manager / Site Agent level leading heavy civils / water infrastructure projects (values 5m+)
• Site Engineer background is advantageous
• Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree)
• Must hold: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Temporary Works and Full Driver's License

Pay:

A rate of up to 370 per day (doe).

Can be paid CIS.
