Job summary

A national training and education specialist is seeking Associate Tutors to deliver teaching and assessment. The role involves planning and monitoring learner progress to ensure positive outcomes. Role Information

DUTIES

  • Deliver a timetable of teaching, learning, and assessment as agreed with your Tutor Delivery Manager.
  • Plan qualification delivery in collaboration with team members, ensuring compliance with all external requirements.
  • Provide support systems to facilitate positive retention, achievement, and progression.
  • Complete all E-registers promptly to the required standards.
  • Monitor learner attendance and performance, reporting effectively to management.
  • Address learner requirements promptly and effectively.
  • Deliver teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure a positive learner experience and timely achievement.
  • Complete individual learning plans and progress reviews, including setting SMART targets.
  • Complete assessments and documentation on time to meet awarding body, audit, and organizational standards.
  • Submit portfolios timely for verification and work with IVs to ensure quality improvement.
  • Engage in relevant CPD activities and maintain records.
  • Contribute to learner disciplinary procedures as needed.
  • Attend standardization and team meetings at designated centers to develop performance.

Promote safe working practices and safeguarding in line with current legislation and policies.

  • Conduct your role in line with company values and expected behaviors.
  • Promote equality and diversity throughout the organization.
  • Comply with safeguarding, Prevent, and health and safety policies, remaining vigilant.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Provide support, advice, and guidance to learners, customers, and colleagues.

Essential Criteria

  • Hold Level 3 Teaching Qualification.
  • Hold Assessing Qualification.
  • Have relevant occupational sector experience.
  • Possess Level 3 or above sector qualifications.
  • Access to and ability to use your own resources.
