We are looking for an exceptional Senior Animator who is available for an immediate contract within the European timezone.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating and integrating world-class character animations for cinematics.
• Apply animation principles to create high-quality animations, optimize for technical constraints, and make adjustments based on artistic direction.
• Collaborate closely with the Art Director, Game Designers, and Programmers to understand quality objectives, gameplay intentions, and engine capabilities to deliver AAA quality.
• Communicate and work with Game Designers and Programmers to find effective solutions or resolve issues promptly.
• Prototype and previsualize animation systems and ideas to facilitate discussions.
• Support in-game cut-scenes and performance animation as needed.
• Mentor and train animation team members.

Requirements

• Experience in animation production on at least one shipped AAA character action game.
• Advanced skills in Maya, UE5, and MotionBuilder.
• Exceptional keyframe animation skills with a reel demonstrating top-tier quality.
• Deep understanding of animation principles and their application to gameplay.
• Passion for character animation, gaming, and film.
• Additional skills in rigging, modeling, traditional art, life drawing, or motion capture are advantageous.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
