Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on a RC Frame residential new build in Central London (1100 units), start ASAP, duration long-term. You will manage commercial aspects from site to final account, procure subcontract packages, prepare valuations, variations and payment applications, and report costs and budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major residential construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative project team.
• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred.

We are currently working with a leading main contractor delivering a RC Frame residential new build project comprising of 1100 units looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work alongside a Commercial Manager. The scheme is at the early stages with project completion due 2028.
