Job summary

Premium Linguistic Services (PLS) is looking for friendly, reliable freelance Turkish interpreters to provide Face-to-Face interpreting in Barnsley and surrounding areas. Open to those with English and Turkish; no formal qualification required, though qualified interpreters are welcome.

You will attend appointments in person, interpret accurately, and maintain confidentiality. This flexible freelance role lets you choose assignments based on your availability; a valid UK DBS certificate is

Qualifications

• A formal interpreting qualification is not required.
• Qualified or non-qualified applicants welcomed; experience is an advantage.
• Must be fluent in English and Turkish and have Right to Work in the UK.

Premium Linguistic Services (PLS) is looking for friendly, reliable and professional freelance interpreters to provide Face-to-Face interpreting services in Barnsley and surrounding areas.

Whether you are an experienced interpreter or looking to use your language skills professionally, we would be delighted to hear from you.

No formal interpreting qualification? You can still apply.

As a Freelance Face-to-Face Interpreter, you will help bridge language barriers by enabling clear communication between people who do not share the same language.

You will attend appointments in person and interpret conversations accurately, clearly and impartially.

Assignments may take place in a variety of professional and community settings, giving you the opportunity to meet different people and use your language skills where they are genuinely needed.

This is a flexible freelance role, so you can accept assignments based on your availability.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

A formal interpreting qualification is not required.

We welcome both qualified and non-qualified applicants. Previous interpreting experience or a relevant qualification is an advantage, but it is not essential.

• Hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one – a valid DBS is mandatory and must be in place before undertaking any assignments with PLS.
