Job summary

Crew Clothing Company in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a Freelance Garment Technologist for footwear and accessories, working 2 days per week. You will develop products to Crew’s high standards, guiding development from concept to production with suppliers and internal teams.

You will lead fit sessions, coordinate with design and buying, manage critical paths and ensure quality, fabric performance and size specs.

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of garment design and production.
• Experience with wide range of garment types and diverse manufacturing operations.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Confident in leading fit sessions and influencing others.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and be proactive.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and buying teams to develop garments to spec.
• Organise and lead fit meetings and ensure alignment with critical path and budgets.
• Provide suppliers with technical data and feedback on fits, including size charts.
• Monitor product quality during production and ensure adherence to standards.
• Maintain consistent communication across teams to achieve timely delivery.
