Job summary

Crew Clothing is seeking a Freelance Garment Technologist specializing in footwear and accessories to drive product quality from concept through to production in Kingston-Upon-Thames.

You will work 2 days per week with Design, Buying and suppliers to ensure fit, fabric performance and sizing meet Crew's high standards, with experience across diverse garment types and fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of garment design and production.
• Experience with wide range of garment types and diverse manufacturing operations.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Confident in leading fit sessions with strong influencing ability.
• Enjoys fast-paced environment and strong product passion.
• Team player and self-motivated with good prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop product from concept through production ensuring fit and sizing to specification.
• Collaborate with design, buying and suppliers to maintain critical path and quality.
• Manage fit meetings and provide technical data for size charts and fabric tests.
• Ensure fabric performance and care label information meet requirements.
• Monitor production to deliver on time with commercial judgement.
