Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of garment technologist experience in fashion
• Experience with suppliers, retailers, or fashion brands
• Strong technical skills in garment construction, fabrics, and grading
• Excellent attention to detail in technical specs and fittings
• Excellent communication and collaboration with designers, buyers, and manufacturers

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and studio teams to develop garments from concept to production, ensuring specifications are met
• Create and maintain tech packs, including garment construction, fabric choices, trims, and sizing
• Lead fit sessions, providing feedback on fit, quality, and construction, while aligning with brand standards
• Ensure product quality by working with manufacturers, conducting sample reviews, and garment inspections
• Liaise with suppliers, both locally and internationally, to manage relationships, negotiate costs, and ensure timely deliveries
• Problem solve production issues, including fabric or construction concerns, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Ensure compliance with UK and international garment standards for fabric, safety, and labeling

• Excellent attention to detail, especially in creating technical specs and conducting fit sessions.
• Great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, buyers, and manufacturers.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
