Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Freelance Finishing Manager to support the final stages of a construction project on site in the United Kingdom. This hands-on role focuses on delivering high-quality finishes and a smooth handover to the client.

The ideal candidate will oversee finishing trades, manage subcontractors, perform snagging inspections, and ensure strict quality and health & safety standards on site, working alongside the Site Manager and Project Manager to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Finishing Manager on construction projects.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• SMSTS or SSSTS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all finishing trades including painting, decorating, flooring, carpentry, and snagging.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely completion.
• Carry out detailed snagging inspections and ensure defects are resolved promptly.
• Maintain high standards of quality control across all finishing works.
• Work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to meet deadlines.
• Ensure health & safety regulations are followed on site.
• Assist with final handover and client inspections.
