Job summary

Chord Event is seeking a temporary/freelance Event Construction Crew member to handle the physical set-up and breakdown of temporary event structures, including frames, flooring, staging, and infrastructure, following detailed plans and safety guidelines.

You will load and unload equipment, assist with layout, support deliveries, and maintain a clean, safe site while representing Chord Event at client sites.

Qualifications

• Proactive and reliable individual with a can-do attitude.
• Punctual and able to work as part of a team under time pressure.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when required by projects.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to drive between sites if needed.
• Experience with heavy equipment is a plus but on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site set-up of temporary event structures (frames, flooring, staging).
• Assist with breakdowns and loading/unloading of equipment after projects.
• Follow detailed plans and safety guidelines while maintaining a clean, organized work area.
• Support deliveries and collections and coordinate with supervisors and team members.
