Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is expanding its freelance fleet driver training network and seeks Fleet Driver Trainers, Instructors, and Assessors to work across Great Britain. You will deliver a mix of classroom and on-road inductions or upgrades at client premises, with opportunities to work for the UK's fastest growing provider of fleet driver training.

Successful candidates will deliver half- and full-day coaching in category B vehicles (mostly vans) and complete accurate assessment reports.

Qualifications

• Qualified as an ADI or listed on NIR.
• Proactive, inclusive training delivery.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles (EV).
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Delivery of training using PowerPoint presentations.
• Laptop and printer provided for course delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises (category B vehicles).
• Complete timely and accurate assessment reports.
• Manage your diary with flexible days.
• Deliver training in both classroom and on-road settings.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
