Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to deliver driver induction and upgrade courses at client premises across Great Britain. You’ll run half- and full-day sessions in vans, complete accurate reports, and promote positive driving behaviours.

Ideal candidates hold ADI Fleet Trainer accreditation or LGV/NIR registration, with strong communication and report-writing skills, and are comfortable with EV training opportunities and flexible

Qualifications

• Desirable ADI Fleet Trainer accreditation or NIR registration.
• Proactive, engaging delivery promoting safe driving behaviours.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles (EV).
• Professional delivery of safety-focused PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
