Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to deliver a mix of on-site driver induction and upgrade courses across Great Britain. Roles include B+E trailer towing training, with duties spanning half and full-day sessions and timely assessment reporting.

Successful candidates will train for a fast-growing provider, with opportunities to work weekends at enhanced rates and additional fuel supplements depending on travel. Materials are provided.

Qualifications

• Desirable ADI Fleet Trainer accreditation or LGV NIR registration.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Experience delivering courses on electric vehicles (EV) is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Deliver half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises across the UK.
• Complete accurate assessment reports in a timely manner.
• Deliver engaging and inclusive training with emphasis on safe driving behaviours.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training. We are particularly looking for trainers capable of delivering B+E trailer towing training.

Duties

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Candidate Skills and Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
