Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to join our team and deliver a mix of classroom and on-road induction or upgrade courses across Great Britain. You will work with prestigious clients and may be involved in B+E trailer towing training.

Successful candidates will deliver engaging training, complete precise assessment reports, and manage their own diary with flexible days. Some EV training delivery is available and CPD support is provided.

Qualifications

• Possess ADI Fleet Trainer accreditation or NIR registration.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Experience delivering EV driving courses is a plus.
• Proactive, engaging delivery of training and positive driver behaviours.
• Professional delivery of PowerPoint presentations.
• Own laptop and printer provided for course material.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises (category B vehicles).
• Complete accurate assessment reports in a timely manner.
• Promote safe driving behaviours and inclusive training.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training. We are particularly looking for trainers capable of delivering B+E trailer towing training.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
