Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to deliver a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at client premises across Great Britain.

Responsibilities include delivering half- and full-day coaching and assessments in category B vehicles, typically vans. Daily rates range with weekend premiums; CPD training and support provided.

Qualifications

• Desirable ADI Fleet Trainer accreditation or LGV National Instructors Register (NIR) membership.
• Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive training with emphasis on positive driver behaviours.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles; upskill training available for right applicants.
• Professional delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations; strong report-writing skills.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

Benefits:

We offer £105 for half day courses and up to £210 for full day Monday-Friday.
