Job summary

MTR Partnership is seeking a freelance Construction Project Manager to lead a high-profile new-build hotel development in North Yorkshire. You will coordinate design, procurement and site delivery, driving a premium finish with close stakeholder collaboration from inception through handover.

The role requires proven construction PM experience on similar schemes, strong leadership, and the ability to manage design teams, stakeholders and cost controls to deliver on time and to budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager delivering new-build construction projects.
• Experience leading design coordination with architects, consultants and clients.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, procurement, budgets and risk management.
• Ability to drive progress while maintaining high quality finishes.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the project from inception to handover.
• Coordinate design development with architects, consultants and subcontractors.
• Manage client relationships and act as primary contact for stakeholders.
• Lead project planning, programming and sequencing to meet milestones.
• Oversee procurement strategies and subcontractor coordination.
• Ensure construction activities are delivered safely, to specification and on budget.
• Monitor costs, variations and commercial performance with the commercial team.
• Drive quality management for premium finishes and detailing.
