We leverage these insights to assist brands in reaching new audiences, expanding their TikTok following and engagement, and creating compelling content that stands out on TikTok.

The brief:

We’re seeking a freelance Account Director to lead TikTok and paid social campaigns. You will be the strategic lead for key clients, focusing on paid social, influencer strategy, TikTok Shop, and performance-driven content. This role is ideal for a senior freelancer comfortable leading campaigns and delivering end-to-end success.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage strategic delivery of TikTok campaigns, including media planning, buying, and optimization.
• Build strong client relationships and serve as their primary TikTok partner.
• Lead TikTok Shop strategies, including shoppable content, influencer integration, and live activations.
• Oversee campaign execution across paid, organic, affiliate, and live content.
• Advise clients on TikTok Shop best practices: storefront optimization, boosting shoppable content, and platform tools.
• Act as senior client contact and escalation point, maintaining high standards and strategic clarity.
• Lead creative briefings, working with in-house and freelance TikTok creators and influencers.
• Develop budgets and proposals for new and existing clients.

What we’re looking for:

• Senior experience in an agency, managing complex accounts.
• Hands-on expertise with TikTok Ads Manager.
• Deep knowledge of TikTok Shop, including affiliate programs, live streaming, and storefront optimization.
• Strong client leadership skills, confident in calls, reporting, and strategy presentations.
• A keen eye for performance-driven creative content and understanding what converts on TikTok.
• Experience managing paid campaigns across various verticals and media spends.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, adapt quickly, and deliver high-quality work.
