Your new firm
Our client is a Top 20 law firm with offices across the globe. They are currently recruiting Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives, or Experienced Paralegals to join their market-leading Fraud team nationwide. This role offers office-based, hybrid, or remote working, with the requirement to attend their Birmingham office once a month or for training and client events as needed.

Your new role
The firm has roles available across their Motor, Casualty, and Vehicle Hire teams at various levels. Responsibilities include defending and investigating exaggerated claims, fabricated claims, staged accidents, and organized fraud. You will communicate with clients, interview witnesses, analyze evidence, instruct their intelligence team, and consider sanctions such as recovery of costs, injunctions, and police referrals. You will manage a caseload of predominantly litigated claims with appropriate supervision, potentially across different clients. All claims will involve fraud concerns and be managed under Delegated and Non-Delegated authority agreements.

About the team
The Fraud team is a specialized, award-winning team known for defending fraud insurance claims robustly and tackling fraudulent organizations and enablers. They adopt a collaborative approach, working with clients and law enforcement agencies like IFED and regional fraud teams. The leadership comprises experienced Associates, Legal Directors, and Partners who support your success. Their work has led to significant outcomes, including findings of dishonesty in courts, police referrals, and cost recovery remedies.

Requirements
Candidates should be solicitors, chartered legal executives, or experienced paralegals with knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules. Experience in defendant EL/PL, RTA, or credit hire is preferred. Some fraud experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided. Experience handling litigated files is also desirable.
