Job summary

The Very Group is hiring a Fraud Analyst in Liverpool to help protect customers and the business by analysing fraud patterns and refining rules. You will build dashboards, monitor rule performance and collaborate with Credit Risk and Fraud Operations to spot threats early.

This role suits recent graduates or those with analytics exposure, offering training, a supportive team and a fast-paced environment that values your input and growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in a numerate subject such as Maths, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to teams.

Responsibilities

• Analysing fraud patterns and customer behaviours using data to support strategy development.
• Monitoring the performance of existing fraud rules and identifying areas for improvement.
• Supporting the design, testing and implementation of new fraud controls.
• Building dashboards, reports or models to help stakeholders understand key risks and trends.
• Working with stakeholders across Credit Risk, Fraud Operations, and wider teams to help protect our customers and the business.
