£35k - £45k per annum + bonus

Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Fraud and Risk Manager. The successful individual will play a key role in managing the risk team, merchants, and bank relationships. The responsibilities will include monitoring and reviewing our portfolio of merchant accounts, building strong relationships across various partners, decision making, and ensuring compliance.

The candidate should be capable of analyzing account performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes. The role will also involve reporting and cross-department collaboration. We will provide ongoing training and support, but look for this individual to take the lead and develop the program as we expand our business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with team leadership or management experience to make a significant impact in a growing enterprise within the payments sector.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing the merchant portfolio.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  • Managing collaboration with merchants and acquiring banks.
  • Leading the Risk team while coordinating with other teams for effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Meeting with acquiring banks and merchants for business and due diligence.
  • Data analysis and development of data aggregation programs.
  • Maintaining accurate and current account documentation.
  • Ensuring merchant compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

  • Professional interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including identifying opportunities and issues.
  • Ability to travel and drive as needed.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
