Job Title: Energy Price Risk Manager

Ideally, candidates should live within a commutable distance of Yorkshire/Leeds, with an office-based presence two days a week and three days working from home.

Salary: (£35,000 - £70,000), depending on experience.

We are seeking an experienced Price Risk Manager to join our client's consultancy team based in the Leeds area. Specialising in energy management, they support clients through in-depth analysis of global wholesale energy markets and deliver tailored strategies to optimise their energy procurement and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyse global wholesale energy markets to uncover cost-saving opportunities
2. Manage energy risk and oversee procurement strategies on behalf of clients
3. Negotiate supplier contracts and secure competitive energy deals
4. Provide strategic account management and nurture long-term client relationships
5. Deliver complex consultancy projects across the energy and utilities space
6. Lead and support team members to ensure successful project execution

What We're Looking For:

1. A degree in Business, Energy, or a related field
2. At least 5 years' experience in energy risk management and strategic procurement
3. A strong understanding of wholesale energy markets and their business impact
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
5. A track record of successfully delivering complex energy consultancy projects
