Job summary

The Very Group is seeking a Fraud Analyst to join our Fraud Risk Analytics team in Liverpool. You’ll use data to understand fraud risks, develop rules, monitor performance, and help spot threats before they impact customers or the business.

Whether you’re a recent graduate or have analytics exposure, you’ll build your skills with a friendly, fast-moving team and contribute to safeguarding our customers while delivering practical insights across Credit Risk and Fraud Operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in a numerate subject or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfortable working with data using Excel, SQL or other tools.
• Clear communication and ability to present insights to others.

Responsibilities

• Analyse fraud patterns and customer behaviours to support strategy development.
• Monitor performance of existing fraud rules and identify improvements.
• Design, test and implement new fraud controls.
• Build dashboards, reports or models for key risks and trends.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk, Fraud Operations and wider teams to protect customers.
