An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Governance & Reporting Manager to join the Counter Fraud and Investigations function of a major UK infrastructure programme.

You will take responsibility for the ongoing management and development of the Fraud Risk Assessment (FRA) programme, helping the organisation identify, assess and manage fraud, bribery and corruption risks across a highly complex programme and supply chain.

The team has already achieved a Gold Standard for its risk assessment programme, so this role will play an important part in maintaining that standard while continuing to develop the programme across different areas of the organisation.

Essential Requirements

  • Significant experience managing a complex Fraud Risk Assessment programme.
  • Strong knowledge of detailed, thematic and enterprise-level FRAs and Initial Fraud Impact Assessments.
  • Experience completing and maintaining fraud risk assessments within a complex organisation or programme.
  • Strong fraud risk assessment, measurement and assurance experience.

  • Experience producing governance and fraud risk reports for senior leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders, third parties and complex supply chains.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex fraud risks to non-specialist stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant fraud legislation, including the Fraud Act 2006, Bribery Act 2010 and Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on major construction, infrastructure or rail programmes.
  • Membership of the Government Counter Fraud Profession, particularly within the Fraud Risk Assessment discipline.
  • Experience working with complex supply chains and large-scale delivery organisations.
  • Experience developing and delivering counter fraud training.
  • Previous experience coordinating fraud risk assurance programmes and reporting progress at senior level.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established 21-person Counter Fraud and Investigations team working on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes.
