Job summary

Allica, a UK fintech bank, is recruiting a Fraud Analyst to join a fast-paced, growing team. You will investigate card and payments fraud, manage cases, and work to recover funds via chargebacks while supporting dispute and reconciliation processes.

You will identify emerging fraud trends, contribute to preventive strategies, and collaborate across stakeholders within a flexible, hybrid working environment. Strong Excel/Office skills and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Fraud Investigation experience is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of transaction and payments processing rules, regulations, and platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Enjoys a variety of activities and can switch priority as needed.
  • Strong customer focus, with an emphasis on doing the right thing.
  • Good negotiation skills, able to engage effectively under pressure.
  • Quality relationship management across stakeholders.
  • Strong technical skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Organisational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Proactive review of fraud risks relating to Card Transaction and Payments Fraud.
  • Manage own caseload of Fraud Investigations and deliver best outcomes for customers and company.
  • Recovery of funds through platforms and schemes (e.g., VISA Chargeback).
  • Support VISA Dispute and Financial Reconciliation processes.
  • Identify new fraud trends and help implement prevention strategies.
  • Support Change programme with SME knowledge.
  • Assist with training needs and provide coaching as appropriate.
  • Communicate ongoing and new fraud risks to the business.
  • Adhere to Allica’s risk management framework.
  • Ensure compliance with policies.
