Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Franchise team in Manchester. You will shape and support finance processes underpinning our growing franchise network, delivering reporting, analysis and financial support across stores.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive informed decisions and sustainable growth, with hybrid working and a focus on accurate financial data and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large data sets to provide financial insight.
• Qualification in accounting/finance (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Produce daily, weekly and periodic reporting to internal and external partners with insightful commentary.
• Provide tailored data analysis to understand performance and identify opportunities.
• Set up new stores for trading, enable transactions, bank arrangements and reporting.
• Coordinate with finance, IT, retail operations and data teams to ensure stores are correctly set up.
• Support month-end processes, including invoices/credits, accruals and charges.
• Maintain reconciliations and support audit queries.
• Assist in account management reviews and present performance insights.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting process.
