Fractional Sales Leader (B2B / Industrial / Energy Sector)

Our client - a fast-scaling, Series B-funded energy transition business - is on a mission to transform how heat is generated, stored and used globally. Backed by leading institutional investors, they’re now seeking an experienced Fractional Sales Leader to help shape their GTM engine and coach their growing commercial team.
This is an exciting, high-impact opportunity for a commercially astute sales leader to work directly with the CEO and senior leadership to establish a scalable sales operating model, mentor the regional sales team, and lay the foundations for future growth across residential, industrial, and OEM markets.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and implementing a high-performing sales operating model
- Coaching and line managing Account Managers and the Revenue Ops Manager
- Defining sales planning, activity targets and forecasting methods
- Overseeing CRM usage and pipeline reporting
- Advising on sales org design and opportunity management
Must-have experience
- 5+ years in B2B sales leadership roles within the industrial, hardware, or energy sectors
- Proven track record building sales operating models that drive measurable growth
- Hands-on experience coaching sales teams (min. 3-4 direct reports)
- Strong CRM capability (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) including pipeline, reporting and forecasting
Nice to have
- Sector knowledge in thermal energy, heating or energy transition
- Experience scaling sales teams in a Series B environment
- Background working with OEMs or in public sector/residential sales
