The Role

We’re seeking a Fractional Managing Director to lead KIT Studios through a pivotal phase of growth, transformation, and brand evolution. This leadership role is ideal for someone with sharp commercial acumen, a creative sensibility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, founder-led environment.

You’ll refine our strategic direction, oversee operations, nurture team development, and cultivate client relationships, bringing a culturally attuned perspective to our growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic & Agency Leadership: Shape and drive the agency’s vision, strategy, and brand positioning; act as a sparring partner to the founder.
• Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, optimize systems, and ensure workflow efficiency.
• Team & Culture Management: Mentor staff, set objectives, and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Client Oversight & Brand Stewardship: Maintain key client relationships, deliver value, and lead strategic reviews.
• Growth & Business Development: Identify new opportunities, support proposals, and lead pitches.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, support forecasting, and ensure financial clarity.
• Cultural & Social-First Thinking: Bring modern, trend-aware perspectives on content and communication.

You’ll Bring

• 3–5+ years’ leadership experience in a creative agency, studio, or startup, especially in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or cultural sectors.
• Strong knowledge of the hairdressing industry and its cultural/media influence.
• Proven ability to lead teams, clients, and strategy with clarity and creativity.
• Empathetic leadership and excellent management skills.
• Deep understanding of PR, social media, and content ecosystems.
• Financial literacy: ability to read P&L statements and make decisions.
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on approach to leadership and building something meaningful.
