Job Description:

We are seeking a Head of Compliance to join a pioneering crypto company on a part-time basis. The role involves supporting licensing applications, including VASP licensing, with the possibility of permanency once licenses are obtained.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the UK compliance framework and regulatory strategy
• Serve as the primary contact with the FCA and other regulators, leading licensing applications
• Develop and enhance AML, KYC, GDPR, and internal controls
• Oversee due diligence processes, transaction monitoring, and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-jurisdictional teams in technology, legal, and operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years in compliance, with at least 2 years in crypto
• Practical experience with FCA and UK regulatory frameworks
• Knowledge of AML, KYC, GDPR, and risk management
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Compliance certifications such as CAMS or ICA are advantageous
