Job summary

Entrepreneurs Hub in the United Kingdom seeks experienced fractional Finance Directors and CFOs to support owner-managed businesses through growth and exit. The role is self-employed with day-rate work. Location is ideally within 50 miles of Basingstoke, with hybrid/remote work and some travel.

Qualifications

• Must have held Finance Director or CFO level in SME or owner-managed businesses.
• Proven ability to drive growth and improve performance.
• Experience guiding clients through a sale, M&A, or exit.
• Clear communication with owners and management teams.
• Commercial mindset and flexibility across different businesses.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen financial reporting, management information and KPIs.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and cash-flow plans.
• Improve margins, profitability and financial controls.
• Support growth plans and investment decisions.
• Assist owners in preparing the business for sale.
• Collaborate with Entrepreneurs Hub and client advisory teams.
