Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking a FRA Multi-skilled Joiner to join the North East team, delivering fire risk remediations and a range of multi-skilled tasks. This permanent role is 40 hours per week and covers Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottingham; out-of-hours callout duties include additional pay. Applicants must live in the North Sheffield area and hold a full UK driving licence.

A basic DBS check is required and paid for by The Guinness Partnership.

About The Role

We are looking for a FRA Multi-skilled Joiner to join our North East team, delivering fire risk remediations and general multi-skilled work. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week. The successful individual will be covering Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottingham. The role includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota, which comes with an additional payment. To ensure timely access to our residents, the successful candidate must live within the North Sheffield area. A full UK driving licence is essential. A basic DBS check is required, which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership.

Essential Requirements Of The Role

• You must be able to demonstrate competence within your primary trade, with the ability to carry out various multi-trade tasks such as basic plumbing, tiling, groundwork, mould washes/treatment and fire safety installation.
• Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, ideally within the social housing sector, with a consistent track record of delivering high-quality service.
• Proven ability to work methodically, achieve targets, follow agreed procedures and accurately record information.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks and apply products that remove and treat damp and mould, in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
• Ability to operate safely, considering any environmental circumstances and possible risks.

Essential Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or an equivalent recognised competency in the primary trade.
