Fortus Recruitment are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs & maintenance industry. We are currently working on behalf of a Local Authority. My client is looking for a FRA Carpenter for a long-term position to carry out work in domestic properties covering Northampton and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include:

1. Installation of fire door sets
2. All aspects of fire door maintenance
3. Working independently and as part of a team, collaborating to solve problems as they arise
4. Liaising with colleagues and managers daily
5. Carrying out fire door assessments and recording findings
6. Interpreting and adhering to manufacturer’s specifications, ensuring compliance at all times

Requirements:

• Own Van
• Clean DBS
• Asbestos Awareness
• Manual Handling
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry
• Fire Awareness
