Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) in London offers an internship or graduate role in FPGA engineering. You will join the FPGA team, contribute to low-latency hardware for trading systems and work across hardware and software using SystemVerilog, C++, and Python.

The program targets penultimate or final-year students, with potential for a full-time graduate opportunity based on performance. London-based, 3–6 months or longer with pathways to roles.

Qualifications

• Penultimate or final-year student pursuing a Bachelors or Masters.
• Experience with SystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python and a keen interest in FPGA tech.

Responsibilities

• As an intern or graduate in the FPGA team, you will build production FPGA systems.
• Work across hardware and software using SystemVerilog, C++ and Python.
• Develop and verify new FPGA functionality and tests.
• Integrate FPGA components with QRT’s trading infrastructure.
• Analyse latency, resource use and performance constraints.
• Gain hands-on experience with FPGA hardware and tools.
• Contribute to research and development to improve systems.
