Job summary

ARCTIC LAKE LLP is seeking an FPGA Engineer in London to bridge abstract algorithms with hardware-level execution. You will own development from ideation to implementation within a lean, fast-growing team building ultra-low-latency systems for trading.

The role involves collaboration with software engineers and hands-on work across SystemVerilog, Verilog, and VHDL, plus exposure to PCIe, Ethernet, and TCP/IP. Salary £60,000 with equity options and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with HDLs (SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL).
• Proficiency in Java and Python; C is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and verification of the FPGA project.
• Improve the implementation flow of FPGA design.
• Write RTL code for core functionality and risk checks.
