Job summary

A leading defence organisation is seeking an FPGA Lead Designer for a full-time, permanent position. You will lead a team, take technical lead on complex projects, and produce design documentation. This is an on-site role requiring British Citizenship due to the nature of the client's business.

We are currently working closely with a leading defence organisation who are looking for an FPGA Lead Designer to join the team. This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site (hybrid).

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading a team of talented engineers.
• Taking technical lead on complex projects to ensure deliverables are met within deadlines.
• Producing low-level software to facilitate testing and integration within embedded systems.
• Producing high-standard design documentation.

The successful candidate will have:

• An Electrical/Electronics Engineering Degree (BSc / BEng / HND) or relevant experience.
• Experience mentoring and leading teams.
• Experience with VHDL, Simulink, Xilinx, ModelSim, and related tools.
• Experience designing complex FPGA architectures.
• Stakeholder management experience at multiple levels.
• Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in low-level software (C).
