FP&A Systems Accountant | Permanent | Hybrid (4 days in the office p/w) | £70-£75k | City of London

Investigo are partnering with a a growing Fintech organisation based in the City of London.

About the role

A newly created position within a growing international business unit, this opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function. The Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting strategic decision-making through the development of financial models, scenario analysis, and collaboration with teams across multiple regions. This London-based role reports to the Head of International FP&A and involves working closely with both local and international teams.

This position is highly technical in terms of Excel, systems and data. The successful candidate must have advanced Excel capabilities and have a passion for data.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with regional and in-country teams to support the international FP&A function.
• Build and maintain robust financial models to assist with business planning and decision support.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess the financial and operational impact of key initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional partners to develop budgets, facilitate financial reviews, and standardise reporting processes.
• Contribute to the delivery of high-impact projects from planning through to execution, including:
• Reforecasting and outlook cycles
• Annual budgeting processes for international business units and corporate functions, integrating outputs into group-wide planning
• Analyse financial results and variances, providing clear commentary and insight on trends and performance against plan.

Candidate Profile

• A recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or an MBA is highly desirable
• Proven experience in FP&A, financial modelling, or finance business partnering, ideally within a global or multi-national environment
• Strong Excel skills, with a passion for systems, data and processes.
• Familiarity with international business operations, particularly across EMEA and LATAM regions
• Industry experience in insurance, financial services, or related sectors is advantageous
