Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an FP&A Senior Manager in London to lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for a SME Consumer Loans FinTech. You will partner with the FD and the wider finance function to keep planning and reporting organized, while guiding a team of 5 direct reports across locations.

The role requires advanced financial planning experience, professional qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA), and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Exposure to Consumer Lending FinTech or similar sectors.
• Qualified Accountant - ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA.
• Strong ability to analyse financial information and explain findings clearly.
• Experience producing financial reports and variance analysis.
• Ability to work effectively with FD and Accounting & Finance teams.
• Confident in using financial data to support planning and decision-making.
• Strong organisational skills for managing reporting and planning deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing clear plans for financial performance.
• Manage 5 direct reports, some locally and some internationally.
• Prepare regular financial reports showing results, trends and key movements.
• Analyse financial data to identify variances and explain drivers.
• Collaborate with the FD and Accounting & Finance teams to ensure planning information is accurate and timely.
• Provide financial insight to support business decisions and operational planning.
• Maintain clear reporting schedules and planning documents for internal stakeholders.
• Review performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting areas needing attention.
• Improve financial planning processes to make reporting more efficient and useful.
