Job summary

Valeo Foods UK seeks a Performance and Reporting Analyst to join the FP&A & Transformation team in Leeds, delivering accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to drive profitability. You will partner with the Finance Business Partner and cross-functional teams to strengthen data integrity and streamline processes.

The role supports month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and business performance reviews, with growth opportunities in a transforming FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA or AAT, or educated to degree level in finance or accounting.
• Show strong IT skills, especially Excel.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query and data modelling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce clear, robust and insightful reporting that provides a detailed understanding of business performance.
• Build relationships between Finance and other departments to manage key workflows, meet deadlines and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Represent Finance in reporting, analysis and review processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, commercial sales data reconciliation, process improvement and data integrity checks, and month-end close.
• Complete month-end activities to agreed deadlines, with commentary on performance and variances.
• Own accurate balance sheet reconciliations in line with financial controls.
• Provide other finance-related support and undertake project work as required.
