Adecco is recruiting a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting, financial planning and governance for Gloucestershire Constabulary. You will partner with senior leaders to model financial scenarios, drive value-for-money decisions and ensure robust financial reporting.

Seeking an experienced CCAB-qualified accountant with board-level reporting skills and advanced Excel abilities to shape financial strategy across revenue and capital.

Qualifications

• CCAB-qualified accountant with senior finance leadership experience.
• Proven track record in budgeting, planning and board reporting.
• Strong Excel and financial systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of annual budgets and MTFP.
• Consolidate and report budgets to senior stakeholders and police governance bodies.
• Manage monthly financial reporting, forecasting and variances.
• Partner with departments to model financial outcomes for value-for-money.
• Oversee capital budgets and project delivery within budgets.
• Ensure governance, compliance and internal/external audits.
