Job summary

The Rank Group is seeking a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant to join the Group Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This full-time role focuses on the financial performance and forecasting for all Technology and IT costs, partnering cost centre owners and providing insightful analysis of operational and capital expenditure.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified with a few years PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) preferably with previous Business Partnering experience.
• Ability to dig into detail and communicate the big picture to executives.
• Roll-up-sleeves attitude with strong attention to detail and prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a Business Partnering role for the Group Technology and IT costs and build relationships to improve performance.
• Own monthly journals, reporting of actuals, variance analysis with commentary, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support monthly reporting pack for Group CIO and direct reports.
• Forecasting and budgeting of all Group Technology and IT costs.
• Maintain relationships to ensure costs are captured and recharged across Group Companies and identify savings.
• Report on project and CAPEX spend and ensure timely capitalisation.
• Develop and automate key FP&A reports and dashboards to improve efficiency and timeliness.
