Job summary

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development seeks an Associate, Cost Management to support FP&A in budgeting, cost analysis and performance reporting. The role partners with budget holders to challenge and optimise budget execution and resource proposals, while contributing to strategic financial planning and cost allocation methodologies.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant, CFA or Masters with strong finance background.
• Excellent numeric and analytical skills with accounting knowledge.
• Experience in cost management, budgeting and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Active monitoring of department budgets and monthly variance reviews.
• Provide first line advice and guidance to budget holders.
• Develop resource analysis for Senior Management and the Board.
• Monitor expenses against budgets and provide insights and commentary.
• Undertake regular forecasts and track agreements to resolve deviations.
• Support cost allocation methodologies for cost KPIs.
