Job Summary

A rare and exceptional opportunity has arisen for an FP&A and Financial Reporting Accountant with one of the UK’s most prestigious property companies.

This business owns and operates a diverse and expansive property portfolio in some of London's most sought-after locations, encompassing high-end residential and commercial schemes.

They are a progressive and forward-thinking fully integrated property company with an entrepreneurial flair, covering the full real estate lifecycle from investment and development to asset management, including sustainable contemporary developments and heritage assets.

This business now has an exciting opportunity for an FP&A and Financial Reporting Accountant to join their well-structured and dynamic team, acting as a key figure undertaking the following duties:

• Report directly into the FP&A and Financial Reporting Management Team
• Support the production of annual budgets, forecasts, and analysis
• Produce quarterly management accounting packs
• Prepare statutory and non-statutory financial statements, including cash flow statements, equity, and tax reconciliations
• Assist with developing, maintaining, and updating financial models
• Coordinate income, expenditure, and variance reports
• Support the preparation and coordination of interim and year-end financial reporting processes
• Participate in major system improvements, including data cleansing, import, and migration
• Support financial control and process improvements to enhance management reports

The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified or newly qualified from practice or industry (property and real estate sector).

Ideally, you will have commercial experience in FP&A or as a Financial or Management Accountant, or a mix of audit and accounting from practice servicing property and real estate clients.

You should have a good understanding of FRS102, budgeting, and forecasting analysis, with excellent Excel skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills and a natural enthusiasm for finance and accounting are essential.
